Current Monash studentsWhat can I study at Prato?Facilities for studentsComputer labs and printing: The Centre is data cabled throughout and has a high speed internet connection. Three computer laboratories are available for student use with a total of 24 networked PCs. All PCs are loaded with basic office programmes and are connected to a networked printer. Wireless internet: A free, secure wireless network is available throughout most rooms in the Centre. Library: Library facilities are limited. The Centre has a small collection of reference books which students are welcome to consult on site. A collection of fiction titles are also available and can be taken off the premises. (Student ID numbers must be left with staff when books are borrowed). Photocopying: Prepaid cards are available to enable students to use a photocopier in the centre. There are no telephone, fax or locker facilities for students. Students are welcome to make use of recreational areas during opening hours (9am - 6pm Monday to Friday). Visitor guide: All students receive a briefing and visitor guide at the start of each course in Prato. Financial assistance to study at PratoMonash University students undertaking courses and units at the Prato Centre can apply for financial support via a Monash Abroad travel grant or equity scholarship, or for an OS-HELP loan from the Australian Government (Commonwealth supported or HECS students).
