Farewell Annamaria Pagliaro

Dr Annamaria Pagliaro concluded duties as the Academic Director of the Monash University Prato Centre at the end of 2008, after a four-year stint in Italy.

Thanking Dr Pagliaro, Monash University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) Professor Stephanie Fahey commended Dr Pagliaro 'for the dedication with which she has served Monash at Prato. As a direct result of her efforts, more students and departments are accessing and benefiting from the Prato Centre than ever before’. She also commended Annamaria’s role in leading discussions and building links with local government in Prato and the Tuscan region.

Dr Pagliaro will be on research leave during 2009. An announcement on a new Director for Prato is expected shortly.

For the interim period Centre Manager Dr Sasha Perugini will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Centre.
